Tirsit Abebe is a Registered Nurse graduated with Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason University. Currently, she is working on her post Baccalaureate graduate certification program with focus on Master of Science Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner program. She is an owner of DREAM-HOPE since 2012. She Coordinate care for individual client with administrative and clinical home health care services. Abebe coordinates individual clinical care process under the structure of DREAM-HOPE framework process according to client’s services. Her administrative part of works include preparing employee manual for more workforce, preparing home safety and infection manuals according to state and federal regulation.

Mrs. Abebe has an excellent telemetry in cardiac and dialysis unit experience with pre- and post-surgical patients. She is expert in initial assessment and ongoing assessment techniques on patient with complex problems. She participate in evidence based research project in Medication safety and quality Family clinical care coordination at home and in the community. Mrs. Abebe teaches and develops curriculum for medication Aide student and entry level students in nursing.

She has strong personality that she balances her personal life taking care of her son, who had Arterial Vein Rupture (AVM) kind of stroke in the past, and work as home health nurse. She juggle her professional life, and his everyday struggle on recovery of physical and nursing rehabilitation. She has excellent communication skills and network with other nurses, developing nurses’ policy and Nurse legislative issues. Mrs. Abebe attends several nursing conferences and continue education classes as certified Medication management, and Medication and Nurse Aid classes approved by Virginia Board of Nursing, National Continuing Educational Review services (NCERS) and National Association of long term care administrator Boards (NAB). Mrs. Abebe is an active member of American Nurse Association and Virginia Nurse Association.
